Celebrate Autism Awareness with Spectrum Fusion!

Join us for an inspiring evening dedicated to shining a light on autism and employment, showcasing narratives that explore the realities, challenges, and success stories of individuals on the autism spectrum in the workforce. This special event at the historic River Oaks Theater, featuring Spectrum Fusion, promises to be a night of surprises to smash the stereotypes of autistic adults.


Forward to Tomorrow (3 minutes)

A snapshot into the culture of Spectrum Fusion and what they are doing that makes a difference in the workplace. "Forward to Tomorrow" is snapshot into the culture of Spectrum Fusion, a pioneering organization dedicated to revolutionizing the workplace for autistic adults. This film showcases the innovative approaches and programs that Spectrum Fusion employs to make a tangible difference in the lives of those on the autism spectrum.

What Employment Means to Me (10 minutes)

In the heartfelt piece "What Employment Means for Me," viewers have the opportunity to hear directly from a diverse group of autistic adults about the significance of employment in their lives. Through a series of candid interviews, each participant opens up about the unique meaning and value that having a job adds to their daily experience. The video aims to shed light on the positive changes and growth that employment can catalyze for individuals on the autism spectrum.

Working Memories (12 minutes)

"Working Memories" is a thoughtfully crafted series that illuminates the experiences of autistic adults in the workplace, through a blend of heartfelt storytelling and illustrations. This series simply outlines with sensitivity and depth the everyday challenges faced by autistic adults. "Working Memories" offers an insightful, visually engaging exploration of autism in the workplace, encouraging empathy and a deeper understanding of neurodiversity in the work environment.

Autistics In Cars: Driven by Passions (compilation 20 minutes)

"Autistics In Cars: Driven by Passions" marks the latest inventive series from Spectrum Fusion Studios, showcasing a unique and insightful journey into the lives of autistic adults. Inspired by the candid, car-based conversations format popularized by comedians, this series instead turns the spotlight on the remarkable talents and skills of autistic adults. Utilizing GoPros and cameras to capture every genuine moment, viewers are given a front-row seat to the intriguing discussions between the passengers and their 'Uber' driver, William Purdy. As they navigate through the city streets, the conversations unfold, revealing the diverse passions, perspectives, and experiences of the autistic community. This cleverly written series not only entertains but also educates and celebrates the extraordinary contributions of autistic individuals, all from the intimate setting of a car ride.

Ripple Cut (22 minutes)

"Ripple Cut" is a compelling 22-minute film meticulously written and directed by Emily Giuffre. The narrative presents an intriguing and realistic exploration of the professional world through the lens of its characters: Lori, a struggling millennial who lands the position of chief editor at a leading marketing firm, and Derek, a highly talented, neurodivergent individual who was overlooked for the job. In a twist of fate, Lori finds herself overwhelmed by the demands of her new role and seeks assistance from the very person who was passed over for the position. Giuffre's leadership and vision for "Ripple Cut" exemplify her commitment to highlighting the talents and potential of neurodivergent individuals. By choosing to collaborate closely with Spectrum Fusion, she ensured that the film was not only about neurodiversity but also actively involved the community it represents in the creative process. Spectrum Fusion played multiple roles in the making of this film, handling acting, editing, sound, and lighting, thereby underscoring the film’s commitment to authentically representing autistic individuals and their potential.
